Surrey page of South East Christian Singles Surrey Christian singles is a local group of single Christians who meet to enjoy social activities and to make friendships. We Welcome anyone who is a Christian and those who are not Christians are very welcome as guests of members. The Surrey Christian singles Committee is run by a group of volunteers and therefore we do not charge a subscription fee but we sometimes may make a profit on an event to give money to charity and also to cover our administration costs such as web hosting fees.
The main age range for the people who attend events for the Surrey group are 40's, 50's and 60's. To get further details of any of the events below or to find out more about the group, please send an E-mail or phone the organiser for the event. The pub is about 15 minutes walk from Thames Ditton station and 20 minutes from Hinchley Wood station. Local bus routes are: We can book a slot each month, so should be no problem getting a seat. If you would like to join us for an enjoyable meal, then please let the contact person listed for the particular Sunday know at least 48 hours before the meal.
If you can not get through the contact person then please phone Luke Randall , Janet Burton or Tony Barros so we know to expect you and to double check that the event is still on. Different people will take it in turn to host the event. Hampton court and Bushy park are both nearby, so these will be a chance to walk along the river by Hampton court or in Bushy park after the meal if people want to.
Directions are as follows: Turn left at the mini roundabout and take the second right Buckingham Road. At the next mini roundabout turn right The Avenue. Just before a bend in the road the White House is on the right. Go past Kempton Park racecourse and follow the road for about 2 miles until you reach the reservoirs on your right hand side. Take the next left hand turn Percy Road. Follow Percy Road over the level crossing to the end.
Go straight over the crossroads into the Avenue. Follow around the bend and the White House is first on the left. Hampton from Waterloo is approximately 15 minutes walk away Bus stops outside the station — 5 minutes.
Hounslow East then bus. There were lots of opportunities to chat to friends, as well as dancing, so it was a very enjoyable evening for all. Sunday 18th February at 1. Medway is a short distance away from the sea and the medieval city of Rochester. Our venue was formerly a traditional Oast House which has been fully renovated to provide modern, comfortable accommodation for 52 people. Capstone Farm Country Park opposite, offers plenty of outdoor entertainment including mountain bike trails as well as walks.
We hope to do a short night walk in the moonlight. There are walks in the local area and places of interest to visit such as: Rochester makes a very pleasant day out with the Castle and Cathedral , together with the oldie worlde Rochester High Street.
Leeds Castle is within easy travelling distance Less than yards from our accommodation is the biggest dry Ski slope and snowboard centre in Europe , a good opportunity to practice your skiing techniques. There is a comfortable lounge next to the Dining area. A large study provides an additional, flexible space big enough to hold dances. We will have dance workshops. Participation is your prerogative. We also plan a 'Dress to Impress' evening meal with an opportunity to maximise socialising during the meal.
As is usual for our weekends we do not plan to fill every bed so that people have more space to spread out. An opportunity not to be missed! Their aim is to offer you the ultimate oriental eating experience with authentic Chinese food. This offers a riverside walk and a pub called the Boaters and also a cafe which we believe is due to open this April.

A Little Pub History Originally a private residence for the Dutch Ambassador, The Thames Court is still adorned with hand painted Delft tiling and oak paneling, together with a set of beautiful fireplaces.
In the 50s The Thames Court became a select private members club, today we welcome guests from all over country to enjoy our riverside setting. There will be a few gazebos in the garden if the weather is poor. This has been a very popular event in previous years with 65 people attending in , 50 in , so please book early to avoid disappointment. The age group at the BBQ in previous years has been mainly 40s to 60s, but any age is welcome.

Meet under the big clock at Waterloo station at We will first explore the possibility of a matinee show in London for example the Lion King as below and picture left as last minute tickets can be cheaper or a film. This will involve a walk of about 30 minutes to the West end where most of the theatres are or to a suitable cinema.
Having decided on a show or film, we will have a light lunch and then go to the show or film. After the show or film for those who want to, there will be a chance to have a meal out.
